VACATION ALERT:
Please book ahead for any reservations required between
3/12/09-3/20/09.  We will away, however, our competent Staff
Assistant/Vet Tech will be here 24/7 during that period to care for our
guests.  

Please call ahead if you foresee a need for reservations during this period.  
Should an
emergency arise & you find the need for last minute
reservations, please call my cell & I will attempt to arrange check-in.  Our
staff assistant will NOT be fielding calls to the office.  

In the spring we will announce our specific vacation dates for next winter
as well as a few days this fall.
New Technology at Captain Kitt's

We were recently enlightened to a technology that will add to our safe boarding
environment & have purchased both a hand held wand & 2 stationary air filtration systems
that uses UV light to kill 99% of bacteria & virus that may find their way into Captain Kitt's.  
We will continue to also sanitize suites prior to a new check-in, however, using these
products will, hopefully, add a new method to curb airborne/surface contagions.  Read
our
blog for information on how this new technology works.
New Methods of Payment now accepted:

We are happy to announce that we now accept Mastercard & Visa as new methods
of payment (in addition to cash & personal check).  We still do not accept AMEX or
Discover.  You may use your checking account debit card as long as you use it as a credit
card (no option to punch in your pin number).

We hope this makes check-out easier for our loyal clients.  Offering Mastercard & Visa
should make it easier for clients to remit the  25% deposits required during peak times of
year.

We're always interested in your ideas to improve Captain Kitt's & welcome any comments!
Change in hours:

We have extended our check-in/departure availibility by 1
hour each day for your convenience.  

Our hours are now as follows:  9:00-11:00am (extended by
1/2 hour) Mon - Saturday & afternoons 3:00-5:00pm
Mon-Fri.  (extended by 1/2 hour in the afternoon as well)

We are still offering Saturday hours in the morning & remain
closed on Sundays/Holidays.  

We hope this helps! (as always, if your schedule requires an
adjustment in either direction, we remain flexible)
The Economy & Captain Kitt's:

We've not yet felt the effects of the economy on our reservation
book (knock on wood!).  We do know that every little bit helps &
are working on a link for client networking.  It's our experience
that people like to do business with like minded individuals & our
clients are compassionate pet lovers.
