SPRING 2008 NEWSLETTER
WE'RE GOING PAPERLESS!!
I've decided that 300+ mailings per quarter is a waste of paper & trees.  (and to be honest, I've been too busy with cats to spend days stuffing envelopes!)  I'm also trying to conserve natural resources by posting our newsletters online instead.  I will be posting all relevant news on our
blog as well as sending out e-reminders when our next quarterly newsletter becomes available.  I've recently added a blog to our site to notify clients of what's going on with us.  All clients on our mailing list will be advised of any upcoming vacations, changes in service or new services via the quarterly newsletters.
OUR LITTLE BUSINESS HAS MADE NATIONAL NEWS! We were a featured story in the September 2007 issue of Cat Fancy Magazine.  They printed a great story about our luxury facility & even included a few pictures.  Read the article in full - click here!

Vacation alert: We will be away for a weekend in June (most likely 2nd or 3rd weekend).  Should you require reservations during this time period, please call ahead. 

We'll have our competent fill-in/vet tech staying at our home & caring for the guests in our absence.  During our Aruba vacation in January,  our clients were satisfied with the service given them
(click here to see Czepiel letter in our Thank You notes section of our web site).  Our fill in will not be scheduling any new reservations - only those clients who have appointments will be allowed to check-in/depart during that weekend.  No last minute/same day reservations accepted.  Call early to book your suite!
FIRST AID & EMERGENCY CARE FOR CATS: Hopefully most of us will never need to know how to administer first aid to our furry friends.  We should, however, be versed in how to treat injuries should they occur.  I found a great site with lots of useful information;  from the best way to pill your cat to how to remove a fish hook (ewww).  Click here to check it out.
CHANGES IN SERVICE/PRODECURES:

REMINDER TO BOOK EARLY DURING PEAK TIMES:  Summer is quickly approaching & we expect to be very busy from the end of June thru the end of August.  If you're planning a family get away & will require reservations please call early to get your suite of choice.  Because we usually have a waiting list (especially for the window & larger suites)
during our busiest times of year, we now require a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure all reservations. This measure ensures we are taking serious reservations only & will have an accurate information for those looking to reserve particular suites.  The deposit will only be required during peak periods - click here to see our posted calander with specific dates).  Thank you for your understanding!



2nd SUITE @ 50% OFF: Because our window suites are in high demand, during school vacation periods only, we will no longer be offering the 1/2 off rate for 2nd window suites. This ONLY applies to the window suites & we will continue to extend the discount to the Standard Suites throughout the entire year. 
BENEFITS FOR CHARTER MEMBERS!!
Everyone who has received this newsletter is considered a Charter Member Client.  This comes with benefits, as we've raised our rates for new clients only.  (click here to view new rates) With the price of oil topping $104.00 per barrel, our overhead has skyrockted.  Clay kitty litter alone recently went up in price by 1/3rd! (I suppose it's more expensive to transport due to it's weight, but WOW!!!).  We, in turn, will be raising our rates as well. 

All you're files have been stamped as being a Charter Member and you will all receive the preferred client rate until 2009.  We appreciate your business and enjoy all our furry friends.
